"Everest Home Edition (the successor of AIDA32) is a system information and benchmarking tool with full hardware & software information. It comes with a built-in hardware database and physical information for CPU, motherboard, hard disks, optical drives, chipset and much more. The information can be displayed on-screen, printed, or saved as a report in HTML or text format. The built in diagnostics module can help you find potential problems, by higlighting them in the report and also includes links to manufacturers web sites, driver updates and more. An easy to use report wizard allows you to create detailed reports in the format of your choice. The program is extremely well featured and very nicely done."

It comes in VERY handy when you want to know everything about your system. It seriously tells you just about everything about the hardware installed in your system as well as system drivers and such. It even got down to the details of my ram timings in 2 different speeds...

Pretty cool... check it out.

LoL, yes it's nice. I'm a long time user of it (and AIDA32 (RIP)). Did you know that there is a beta version of EVEREST? I have to use it as the current released version doesn't recognize the chipset on my mobo properly. Look for v220.

My new system keeps freezing up running Everest (requiring a power button reboot).

Chaintech VNF4/Ultra
AMD Athlon64 3000+ 939
Maxtor DiamondMax 250GB SATA 16MB cache
PQI Turbo Memory 1GB (2x512)
Leadtek Winfast 6600GT
OCZ Modstream 450Watt

Anyone else have problems running Everest with the VNF4-Ultra and/or Athlon64 3000+ 939 ?

I used to use Everest until I discovered SiSoftware Sandra, it also will tell you what is in your system (much more detailed) and it has numerous other functions too numerous to mention.

Sisoft is a bloated mess with bogus benchmarks. And their recognition engine turns in results that are less accurate than EVEREST (at least for my system).

PM me your email address and I'll send you a copy of the beta version, it works much better with my NF3-250Gb board than the official one does. The size of the file is 2.86MB.
