Besides me getting back from my "vacation"...
I got a LG 50PC5D instead of the AX200U (if only I had a computer with a QAM tuner...), I think this plasma is great, I only have a few hours on it, but it sure is worth it!
The IR was pretty bad when I first got it, after a few hours with it it really cleared up.

Also, 50" is HUGE in my room, and I am not following Jello's advice, I am getting a BIC H100 for my room, NOT 2 Dayton 12"s, my room is way too small now for all that. I had to move my large KLHs out of the way for this bad boy. I hope to move my computer on to my other wall so I can spread out my speakers and such.

I want to get pics sooo bad. I am getting a PS3 with my next few checks, I would get it with this one but of course rent....

I thought either way would be good for the subwoofer move :p

The Dayton sale and free shipping deal is over at Partsexpress anyway ;)

Have you turned the brightness and contrast down for the burn-in susceptible period?

Yep! All down to 50 on user2 and calibrated (according to Internet sites...) on User1, I use User2 when I am not watching and then User2 when it is something important.

Really all I watch is PBS, with my night time job I never get to watch the other signals in HD, most of the time they just play BS on the network channels at night, sometimes I switch to SD *shiver*
Gotta love those ole direct view CRTs for their excellent SD viewing ^_^

Also, we have BR rentals at our local shop, and same price as regular DVDs :clock:

Yeah, can't wait for the upconverting and Blu-Ray madness!!!!
So now I do have the superior HT system in the house, now just need to move around my system so I can utilize those huge mains I have, btw I do have pics of them.

Just all of my HT and computer speaker setup pics, as you can see the 27" t00b looked pretty large.

Have you tried getting the Polk speakers up on stands at all?

Especially with the low mounted tweeter, I would think that getting those up higher would be a good idea.

Yeah, that was mentioned before on another forum, just hasn't crossed my mind too much. I guess it doesn't bug me too much yet. I did however put the rubber feet on the bottom though.

I am pretty sure they are supposed to be on stands and not on a table really.

I Really think more people should invest in a omnidirectional mic, stand, preamp and FFT software.

At least those who are into HT, its very useful for making phase and level adjustments.

Too busy with the display now ^_^.

BTW, my Little Dot II++ is featured in some of those pictures, the sound is crystal clear although my Pioneer receiver (the receiver on my desk) pushes my HD485s a little higher but eh, I think I need some more headphones.

I was thinking A700s or some HD595s.

No, I provide customer support for Verizon Pre Pay wireless service. BTW, everyone with pre-paid service has important business to take care of and they need 100% uptime.

I try to distance myself from unhappy customers ^_^

They can't throw cellphones through the phone line. They however can throw speakers at you in the white van business.
