So Michael Bay is going to remake the Hitchcock classic, "The Birds".
The sheer idiocy behind this idea is staggering to the point that it must have seemed like sheer brilliance to a room full of studio execs. "The Birds" is one of the most original and frightening movies of all time, and it was directed with a masterful touch by a genius with few if any peers. Now, out of all the competent directors in Hollywood, somehow assclown Michael Bay got attached to this project. What does this mean? Instead of a tightly directed, suspenseful story of nature gone awry, we are likely to see two hours of enormous explosions while Bruce Willis smites thousands of screeching, enraged gulls with fully automatic weapons.
Hollywood disgusts me more and more.
