Denny’s Fried Cheese Melt with wavy fries and marinara
1,260 calories
63 g fat (21 g saturated, 1 g trans)
3,010 mg sodium

Apparently, Denny’s deemed the classic grilled cheese too boring for our novelty seeking taste buds, so they fixed it by driving four deep-fried cheese sticks into the core of the sandwich. So what you end up with are cheese sticks with extra cheese between slabs of buttered bread and a pile of fried potatoes on the side

IHOP New York Cheesecake Pancakes
1,270 calories

CALORIE EQUIVALENT: 28 McDonald's Chicken McNuggets

Further blurring the line between dessert and breakfast, IHOP has infused their fluffy flapjacks with gooey hunks of cheesecake

Friendly’s Grilled Cheese BurgerMelt
1,500 calories
97 g fat (38 g saturated)
2,090 mg sodium

CALORIE EQUIVALENT: 15 Snickers Kudos Granola Bars

Where a normal hamburger has buns, this one has grilled cheese sandwiches. Yes, that’s two grilled-cheese sandwiches with one hunk of ground beef wedged between them.

America may not be able to make a decent car, but we can pack more calories and fat into our food than anyone in the world.

We're so far ahead of the competition, it's like we're just showing off now.

hmm 1200 calories, and no damn meat or sugar? What a waste!!!

I usually eat 1500ish calories+ during lunch, but usually there's at least 1 pound of meat!

And I could totally eat those new york cheesecake pancakes ... I pretty much cut out all deserts from my daily routine, but about once every couple of weeks I eat some desert foods. My diet appears to be working, my waist size is down a good 2 inches, still want to drop 6 more inches though...

on a somewhat related note, I got dragged by my relatives to a chinese buffet (which was supposedly picked by my 11 year old cousin)

Imagine my surprise when said 11 year old cousin loaded up her plate with all types of brown shit - egg rolls, french fries, fried shrimp, fried this, fried that. fuck, the only colors on her plate were brown and red (sweet n sour sauce, ketchup)

WTF do you have against egg rolls?

nothing, it was more of an observation regarding the ridiculous amount of fried food on her plate. it was straight out of Jamie Oliver's food revolution.

It's insane how good of a burger I can make it home for 600 calories vs these things.

170 cals -- wheat hamburger bun
230 cals -- 1/3 lb bison meat
45 cals -- Kraft Olive oil mayo
70 cals -- 2 slices center cut bacon
50 cals -- 2% provolone cheese slice
20 cals -- ketchup and mustard
10 cals -- lettuce, tomato

I found your problem, 1/3lb of bison meat. That's not even 6 ounces!!!!!
And 2 slices of bacon? What the hell man, are you jenny craig or someting?

Solution:
16 oz of meat (90+% lean beef, or turkey, or bison, or ostrich or whatever floats your boat!)
8 slices of bacon.
And add more cheese!!!!

The pancakes look awesome, the rest looks not so good. Way too much bread for that burger.

And a couple fried eggs.

Ohhh man! That sounds awesome!!!!! I had a pepperjack bacon stack at Champps for lunch today, but, now I'm hungry again ....

Maybe some pineapple added to the burger would be good too, just for the hell of it.

False

Overkill is a band from the 80s, they are not a cheeseburger!

And I like to eat, I have an appetite, I would eat 10000 calories per day if I didn't have discipline enough not to. A burger like I'm describing would be only around 1500 to 2000 calories, something you could do 2-3 times per week while eating lighter lunches the other days.

I like to eat too, but I also like proper proportions in food as well as not turning into a lardass. I only have so many calories to spare in a week.

Speaking of fast food, I went to eat at an Applebees today and had some of their nachoes. All I could taste is salt, and the liquid soup that comes out of 20 different ingredients after it has been nuked in a microwave.

If it is cheap - it is for a reason!

If you're even pondering the calorie count of a burger you clearly don't understand burgers.
