GREAT new album (with samples) - I think that you guys will like it!

Buck 65's new album is awesome... It's not exactly hip hop but sounds like Tom Waits over dark trip hop meets folk beats.. Very interesting stuff, though a bit depressing at times.. Some of the songs have a very Tarantino-y vibe (yet more reflective and less "fun")... Here's a brief review (samples from a college radio site bellow the review)

Buck 65: Talkin' beloved patriot Blues (4 out of 5 stars) - Review taken from the Gaurdian

The film Taxi Driver memorably captured the atmosphere of late-night New York, as Travis Bickle allowed the atmosphere of the mean streets to pollute his mind. Now, from the unlikely mindset of a husky-voiced Canadian rapper, comes what is almost an aural equivalent.
Rich Terfy, aka Buck 65, occupies at best a loose relationship with hip-hop, but seems closer to the literary world of Bukowski and Kerouac. With an author's turn of phrase, he documents his travels through a world where "everybody's eyes are so red it's hard to see", stopping at hotels where "dead flies hang in the light fixture".

Yet his tunes aren't up to the challenge of his words: Terfy layers slo-mo grooves with everything from funk licks and pedal steel guitar to the noises of heavy industry. The overall effect is a taxi ride with DJ Shadow, Tricky and Eminem's illegitimate second cousin.

Jump aboard and hold tight

2 - great track but have patience with it 😉
3
4 - this song isn't really about shining shoes 😉

I heard it on the radio, I am more of a reggae punk listener, unless its cool like velvet underground, 311, DMB, bella fleck, etc....
