Great, My New KT7A Socket Hinge Broke, Now What?

I was installing a FOP38 and the thing just broke and flew. Its the small hinge on the socket A that holds the HSF.

I bought from Frys, and its still within the exchange date, can i go and change a new mobo? What will they say or what do i say?
 
i'll be doing that, but what if they said since you did'nt buy the cooler from us, and installing an uncertified AMD HSF will void the warranty!!

Should i tell them i used a generic cooler?
 
hahahah frys wont argue with you...you're thinking of company FRY's...dont...think about the employee that u talk to... he/she does not give a rats ass you jacked up the board...hehhe...trust me they dont give a crap...ive done that many times before when i fried my a7v while soldering dip switches...hahha
