I guess the recent loss of Johnny Cash, Warren Zevon and others have left us pondering this subconsciously. Post the bands/artists you have yet to see live.
For me:
- Beastie Boys
- Aerosmith
- The Allman Brothers
- U2 (went to PopMart and Zooropa tours, had tickets to their last show in Chicago but missed it, need to see them one more time!)
- Red Hot Chili Peppers (why do I keep missing them?)
- AC/DC (do they still tour?)
- Foo Fighters
- Cake
- Britney Spears (just wanna see her once, I swear!)
- Rolling Stones (just for their legendary status)
- KISS (again, for the legendary status)
The ones I've missed:
- Nirvana (became a fan too late)
- Sublime (fan too late)
- Guns 'n Roses (will never be the original band again)
- Soundgarden (again, fan too late)
- Rage Against the Machine (saw them open for U2 once, but never a whole set.)
The ones I was lucky to see:
- Big Pun
- Aaliyah
- Thievery Corporation @ 18th Street Lounge
- a great Pearl Jam concert in Raleigh...don't think their shows'll ever get better
