JustDeals has an even better deal Here. $19.99+$12.90= $32.89. And you save on the shipping if you buy more boards. They also have a bunch of P4 boards for $15-20.

I picked up one of these when they were on sale at Overstock.com a few months ago. Died shortly after installation. Buy with caution and get it up and running/testing before the warranty runs out.

On the other hand, I've only had one bad board out of ten from Newegg's refurbs, so I'm certainly doing better than some people.

ah, but the board justdeals is selling is not the pro 2 version which is a better board. The overstock board is the pro 2 which has the promise ata100 raid controller built in. The boards MSI model number is MS-6380. Even though it lists as the K7T Pro, check out the ms model number. You actually get the K7T266 Pro 2. Its a great board if you are building up a spare pc, or something for the kids, which is what I am doing.

The one from JustDeals is MS-6330_V3.0. A whole different board.

Overstock link says K7T Pro. Chipset says 8366 so I assume it's the KT266 (non A version) with the very slow memory controller.

Justdeals' board only has a KT133A chipset. Good for if you have SDRam left, but otherwise, I'd say that the Shuttle nF2 board @ Newegg is the best deal for a new AMD board.

like I said, perfect motherboard for building up some decent systems for the kids. I had a bunch of pc2100 ddr ram sitting around and I bought some Paly amd 1600+ cpu's for these. Ad an FX5200 and the kids have something to be happy with...right?

cool.

I will have to look at the boards newegg is selling refurbished for a second pc for me.

I linked the wrong board in my message, here's the MS-6380 at JustDeals for $19.99. When I want an older mobo I always go first to JustDeals, they sometimes have gems for cheap.
