They are predicting 4-8 inches for SE Michigan, more in Ohio.

Looks like a fun ride to work tomorrow 🙁

we are supposed to get 3-6 here, 6+ to the south, which means we'll get 6+ and south of here will get a foot!

Ugh - 3 to 5 inches by tomorrow morning. Snow's supposed to roll in about 4 today here in Toledo.

At least I sort of have tomorrow off.

...WINTER STORM TAKING AIM ON SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN TONIGHT...

TIMES...ESPECIALLY BETWEEN 8 PM AND 3 AM. SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 5 TO 8
INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN...INCLUDING THE METRO DETROIT AND FLINT

REGIONS. THE BAND OF HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR NEAR A
HOWELL TO PONTIAC TO PORT HURON LINE...WHERE TOTALS WILL BE TOWARD
THE HIGHER END OF THE FORECAST RANGE. THE SYSTEM WILL THEN QUICKLY
EXIT TO THE EAST AND THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF TO FLURRIES BY EARLY
FRIDAY MORNING.

*news flash* It is going to snow in Michigan. Local weather guys are doing their best to try and hype up the in-comming storm. Bring it on.

I think my dog would be upset if we shoveled an area for him. He loves to root around in the snow.

🙂 shoveling will suck and so will the commute, but i'll be posting in here from my desk in the AM :moon:

Windsor - Leamington - Essex County
9:19 PM EST Thursday 8 December 2005
Heavy snowfall warning for
Windsor - Leamington - Essex County continued

15 cm of snow overnight into Friday morning.

This is a warning that heavy snow is imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

An expanding area of snow..Heavy at times..In advance of a deepening low pressure area approaching from Indiana has reached southwestern Ontario. The snow will spread rapidly northeast to reach the Niagara Peninsula by midnight.

A general snowfall of near 15 cm is likely by Friday morning as the deepening low pressure area tracks across the district into Lake Ontario Friday morning.

Strong southwest winds gusting to 70 km/h are also expected to develop for a few hours Friday morning near Lake Erie east of Long Point. Hence reduced visibility in blowing snow may also be a problem in exposed areas.

Driving conditions will quickly deteriorate tonight and become hazardous. Low visibility in periods of heavy snow and local blowing snow are likely. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution and adjust travelling plans accordingly.

yay, can't wait. at least I crashed my GTO last Saturday...can't do that again for at least another few weeks 😛
