This has probably been thought of before and posted, but just to be sure.... I was at the mall and couldn't find a parking spot for jack. So while I was driving around, I saw a car illegally parked with a ticket on the windshield. So I parked my car, got out, took his ticket, put it on my car, and illegally parked as well =) Mall security/cops very rarely give 2 parking violation tickets. I don't even know if they are allowed to.... anyway, when I am done, if the car is still there, I give it back to him.... if not, I toss it. What do ya think?

Wow Futher, that's a good idea! Here's another: borrow your dad's handicapped rear view mirror hanger. 
mall parking tickets, are they enforceable? As in, are they the same type of parking ticket that a city can issue?

Malls usually allow the police to ticket on their, otherwise, private property. Regardless of who owns the property, you will get a hefty fine for parking in fire lanes, min fine ~$100 and up.
Many cities can ticket cars many times in one "sitting" of the car, for just the reason you mentioned. "I have one ticket, why not stay?"

So the person who actually got a ticket in the first place ends up paying more because of you. I think that's messed up. If I ever ended up paying more for a stupid ticket because of some dumbass like you, I'd beat you silly!

What you should do if they leave before you get back is be nice since you stole the ticket and pay it .
And i wish my school only gave one ticket. I think the people here just sit beside the cars and wait say ten minutes and right another and another.

Cops do give second tickets if they come around again. Many times they'll check the time on the first one and if it's been sufficiently long enough thye'll give you another. Thats messed up that you would do that. First off, thats an illegal area to park in for a reason. Secondly, if the person leaves without getting his ticket back he has an open parking ticket on his record. The fines will start to rack up for him and I would be pissed if I found out that happened to me.
If your idea works perfectly and they do not give you two tickets(which most places do) then they will give the other car another ticket because you took the one off of their car. So instead of them just getting the one ticket they would get two, but one that the did know about.

If the owner of that other car doesn't get his ticket back, isn't he kind of screwed? I mean, yeah, if he has it, he's got to pay it, but if he doesn't and doesn't even know he had one, he's just doubly out-of-luck.
