It all seems pretty simple and certainly could be summed up without much thought. In fact, let's do that. The Palomino is going to debut in month or two and as we can certainly see it is a faster overall CPU than the TBird clock for clock. If you are going to upgrade soon, I think you might wait around for the 1.5GHz chips to hit the shelves as they will be a good investment that will likely stay in your box a pretty good while. Get you a DDR mainboard to match it up with and you have got a winner for sure. That is the simple version.

Maybe if you're not into a DDR board or 266FSB TB's system yet, Palomino's ought to be your next system. But if you're on a KT133A or higher chipset you should just stay cool and wait unless you've got "Greens" burning in your pocket.:cool:

Read the article yesterday and it seems worthwile to hold off on my next upgrade. I need something better than my 733MHz P-III... The Palomino with the nForce is gonna be tough to beat.
