probably. you might find a similar deal on an acer, hp, or toshiba, though. most retail stores rotate one or two good deals a week, but all in all i think you'll end up with basically the same hardware.

i might wonder what battery life is like with that processor.

There were Staples deals with similar spec for $399.99 w/o rebates, 64bit os and all. I haven't seen the deal in a couple of months. Considering the free upgrade to Win 7, this is not bad.
