Great fathers day gift idea.. Godfather DVD set for $50 AR at Costco

So I was looking for the Band of Brothers dvd set today at Costco.. they didn't have any so I decided to get the Godfather set just in case I came back later .. it's 64.99 and when it rang up at the register there is a $15 rebate that comes with it.. even the cashier looked surprised when it printed up.. so now I think I'll just give him the Godfather set instead of Band of Brothers... its not advertised in the store or anything so I dunno if this is national or YMMV this was the Costco in Norwalk, CA.
 
and whats even better about this deal is you can file for the rebate electronically. just go to costco.com and click on the 'rebates' link at the top. you can send in the rebate in electronically and save a stamp and save the waiting time for mailing out the rebate.

i would hop on this if i didnt pick up a couple copies at fry's a couple days ago when they had it for $49 no mir's/pm's. 😀
 
no. it was a 1-day special deal for the new san marcos, ca store that had its grand opening this past friday. (san diego fry's had the same deals though for the grand opening)
