Great eats in Minneapolis

Anybody here been to Mercado Central or Midtown Exchange? Good things to say about them?

112 Eatery? Melting Pot?

Also, anyother good eateries you might recommend in Minneapolis area.

From a pretty lengthy talk with my friend who moved there for law school, the Twin cities and perhaps all of Minnesota is very immature when it comes to good food (compared to say, California). Unless you are just talking about Chili's and Ruby Tuesdays or something.

Last time I was there we went to this random sushi restaurant... all you can eat for 15 bucks (!!!). I ate all I could eat 🙂

Mpls. has great ethnic foods, everything from Arabic, Polish, German, Thai, French, Italian, Norwegian/Swedish, Irish, Vietnamese, Armenian, Japanese, Chinese and on and on. If you can't find a particular type or style of food just ask around. Great food is one of the good things about Minneapolis/St Paul.

Where do you live?

Sawatdee, excellent Thai food
MarketBBQ for good ribs
Chino Latino in uptown is a pretty popular spot
Ichiban is supposed to be good sushi place, haven't been there myself
We have a Ruth's Chris steakhouse

Ichiban is a pretty good japanese steakhouse. RK and Mortons are good too, but you'd be better off at Manny's or Murrays
