great dvd deals at amazon if you got the gift certificate

if any of you got the $10 gift certificate in the mail from amazon, they have a bunch of %50 percent off dvds(listed at techb@rgains) that are great deals when used with it. the best deal is highlander: its only $5, so you can get two with the gift certificate and only pay shipping(you could sell the other one on eb@y and get your money back). highlander is a really good movie btw.

stay away from the highlander dvd at all costs....something in the way its mastered onto the dvd makes the sound vary in level considerably. you'll go from a big explosion or something and in the middle of that scene, the voices will be very soft, making u strain to hear them. just too much work to try and get a suitable volume and it still doesn't work very well.

ive rented the highlander dvd and it was fine(this is the 10th Anniversary Directors Cut, incase there is a standard version your talking about).
