Just got a haircut yesterday at the Great Clips in St. Louis, MO and there is a sale going on right now. $8.99 haircut until Feb 4, 2005. I dont know if this extends to all the other stores but you can call to confirm.

Eh, not keen on "sales" for cutting hair... as they say, you usually get what you pay for. Did they put a bowl on your skull and cut around it?

Had to train the wife to cut hair. That military dollar gets tight when you need to get a hair cut every week and a half. Back home it was $5.50 for a styled cut .

Just FYI on PX and BX haircut prices

From AAFES: Every January, AAFES conducts a survey of barber shops in the local area to determine prices of the same services offered. We then set our military "regular" haircut price at 30 percent below the average price surveyed. Our military "recruit" haircut price is set by reducing the military regular haircut price by an additional 40 percent. Our pricing method allows us to attract and retain qualified barbers while still offering a necessary service at a fair price.

As a result of our most recent survey, the price for a military haircut is now;

(some examples)
Jackson MS.
$7.30

Hanscom Ct.
$13.20

plus your still obligated to tip of course.

Nah, but you can't miss their signs (Great Clips) all over the place near the location.

U gotta buy your own clipper (mine's wireless :D)
save yourself some cash, and it always comes out just how YOU want it to.
-after a few misses at first- haha

That doesn't work all that well when you're trying to maintain a great ceremonial braid--and Great Clips isn't such a hot idea either.

Got mine cut in TN 1/21 for regular price, but was told about the sale, and that the last couple days for it (~4th, she wasnt sure of date), will be $5.99.
