Just heard of some celebs helping out, but none quite like Steve Buscemi, an old Firefighter in NY is supposedly down at ground zero helping digging...way to go steve

Wow, Steve is doing that? If so, he's great, in a general sort of way. Is there a link?

no they were interviewing the woman from the sopranos (tony's sister) and she said that she heard other celebrities were there and told how she knew steve was down there

That is quite impressive.

I wonder why others are not helping in the search through the rubble...? Is it liability concerns, or worries that more rubble may collapse and injure the untrained?

One would think they would want all the people they can to sift through the small, non-dangerous rubble to look for survivors?

well i think its the same reason normal civilians arent allowed to. need some training. And Buscemi was a fireman in the Bronx (i think, but not positive which part of the city).
