Great built-in speakers?

Maybe not great, but how about as good as they get?

I'm looking for a TV in the 50-55" range with really, really good built in speakers. The application does not allow for a separate receiver, sub, satellites, etc. Room is 20x20. Looking for the least complicated setup which is just a TV, cable box, BRD player.

At the very least I'd look at a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer. Would that be an option?

TV is going in the office but there's no floor space so it will be wall mounted with a small corner shelf for the peripherals. Not opposed to a sound bar if it's made for the specific model of the TV and attaches/hangs.

No waf issue, we've got a big HT in the living room, just don't want to build another one for the office and put even more wires and crap in there. 🙂

How about wall-mounting small active speakers that plug directly into the TV?

For instance the Genelec 6010a's. They can be had in white so they'll blend in to most walls. There is a factory wall mount and the speaker already has dip switches on the back to offset the bass gain from wall. Plus, they are incredibly small. I replaced my cheapie Behringer monitors with these on the desktop, and I still find it ridiculous that these do everything better (much more accurate, louder, put out lower bass) than the Behringers which literally take about five, six times the volume.
