I work noon to 5 on weekdays for my assistantship. Wednesdays we usually have a 9:30am staff meeting, but not today. I found this out today at 9:28. No email, no "hey preslove, no meeting tomorrow," nothing. I was running late this morning so I parked in the faculty lot... and now have a ticket. My bicycle is in the shop and ready to pick up. Had I known about the absence of meeting I would have picked up my bike and taken it to work.

I know he didn't make me park illegaly, but god damn, at least give me the courtesy of telling me about the cancellation when he apparently told everyone else :roll:

i hate that too, somebody waits to cancel a meeting like that

i have an hour commute, so i expect to know the day before if an early meeting is changed
 
You didn't get that memo? Sorry about that. Oh by the way, we're going to need you to move your desk into the basement. Greaaaaaat.
