Offcouse my problem hasn't been fully sorted out right now, but GRAW atleast runs playably at those settings.

Nowadays I hear a lot of irritating and bugging sound especially while gaming or after a game or whenever even using my graphic card, I didn't hear that previously. It is driving me crazy, is it my graphic card or can it be my motherboard fan?
Any way to solve the sound problem?
In between writing this message it had vanished but came up again. I am going mad now!!!

you have an xtx and can't use AA or AF? :p
:Q

i'd say you have not sorted your problems out

to fully solve your PC problems:

1) get an xbox 360
2) pay for a RT flight to your city and i will fix it for you . . . no charge.

I didn't use AA because a 1900xtx isn't powerful enough atleast for GRAW as review sites say. For AA, I think my system might not be able to handle.

Sound Blaster Live 24Bit!

I don't know others FPS, but I have heard GRAW running crap on 1900xts even at 1280x1024. That is why I tried 1280x960 with no AA AF, I will try AF later and tell you the results. Do you think a full retail patched version increases performance?

i think Creative has just released new drivers this week . .. dunno if for yours

you have to isolate from where the sound is coming . . . from the speakers or the rig?

and OF COURSE a fully patch retail version of GRAW should run smoother.

How do you like the GRAW demo?

i am waiting for Gothic3 to come to the US. and a x1950p in agp

I am unable to isolate it, how do I know whether it is TT BT, Mobo fan or GPU fan. But the thing is since the time this fan makes this noise, games may have become better.

GRAW does not support AA, there is no way to turn it on. Even with a full retail patch.

As for the fan, put your finger on the MB fan and stop it. If it still makes a noise then you know its the GPU.

Even if it is the GPU, why the hell is it roaring like that ,as if it wants to drill something? Especially while and after gaming and sometimes with normal XP usage?

Look, man. First, yes Graw doesn't have 2x or< AA. It has a blur but it looks terrible if you use it. As for AF, please turn it on to 16x...
Other than that ALL cards should behave the same unless they overheat or are OCed. So if you know you are running a clean system, your FPS should be what they are. If you are concerned about noise, get an Accelero X2. They're so damn cheap.

I turned the FPS to 16x and my FPS took atleast a 5-10FPS hit, the real world performance according to me degraded as well. This couldn't be normal for such a loss just with 16x AF, right?
