gravis gamepad pro, win2k, and KK266?

Does anyone have a gravis gamepad pro working in win2k, and even better, working in win2k on a KK266? I follow the instructions, even somewhat different instructions given by their tech support, and always get this message when pointing to ntgrip.sys, no matter where it is:

SystemRoot\system32\drivers\ntgrip.sys device driver could not be loaded. Error Status was 0xc0000034

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this, or how they got the gamepad pro to work in win2k?
 
I have it working in win2k perfectly. I didn't even have to do anything cause win2k recognized it right away. I never installed the Gravis software though, cause win2k seemed to know what it was doing already. Doesn't win2k recognize it on startup and automatically install for it?
