Graugh! Windows wont boot PLEASE HELP!

I recently installed a new motherboard (Epox 8kta3+) in my system, and I have been having this problem: My system posts fine, but when it gets to the Windows 98 Screen it beeps and then restarts again. Anyone know what the deal is?

Did you reinstall OS ?

No, I wont have a windows CD until tommorow, I really would like to get it to boot without having to format and reinstal windows

May be quite hard Can you get into safe mode ? Delete all old system drivers and then reboot. The system is likely having a problem detecting hardware.

No I can get into safe mode, any other suggestions. Oh yea, this is an OS problem right, and not a motherboard or processor problem?

Most likely, it is an OS problem. When you change motherboards I have often found I have to reinstall the OS. So calm down and wait till ya get the CD before you worry about it being a bad CPU or MOBO or anything.
