Graphics video card question

I'm building a new AMD system, MSI neoplatinum4 mb, and need advise on a PCI express type video card. I just do graphics, no gaming and so would like the best 2D performance and quiet too. Any suggestions. MB doesn't have an AGP slot and the pci cards I've looked at seem to all have fans, so I don't mind a fan if it's not noisy. Quieter the better though.
