Graphics Severly Messed up

My graphics in all my games are messed up. Here's an example:

This is just a tiny minisecond of what goes on. The black lines come and go, at speeds that almost blend together. They take up my whole screen, sometimes they get worse and worse until my whole screen turns back.

I have tried uninstalling my video card from device manager, then reinstalling it with:

1. The Newest NVidia Drivers
2. The 77.30 Nvidia Drivers

I dont know what else to do to fix this problem. Any Info appreciated thanks
 
it happens in the very beginning. It worsens after playing for a short period of time. Turn the game off, and try it again, it happens the same way. it cant be overheating. I tried it this morning (pc was off all night). Nothing.
 
I would try an app that tests for artifacts. I know for ATI cards there is Radlinker or ATI Tool, which runs a graphical test that will check for artifacts.

You need to independently test your card, outside of the gaming environment. Not sure which app would be the best for this in terms of Nvidia. Good luck.
 
Also this, which leads me to question if its the video card. The computer is on for only 2 hours, i open the case and I can feel the heat coming off from the computer the instant I open the case. Like an oven thats been preheated, and you open it to get whatever it is. The parts are very hot (the psu, the video card especially, everything.

Sometimes in games in freezes for about a second or two about every 10 second intervals. The computer beeps too everytime it freezes. It doesnt happen everytime but it happens a lot.

Any other information appreciated thanks

Sounds like it could possible be a heat problem......
You expect things to be 'warm' but not HOT.

Try leaving the case open, and blow a fan over the insides.
Now provoke a crash with your other hand.
Notice whether it takes longer to crash or not?
 
I formatted. The drivers for all parts have been installed. The monitor shuts off at random times, the light blinks on the monitor, and sometimes millions of lines diagonally take up the whole screen dissallowing me to see anything but the lines. The monitor did this before too, but after a restart it works again. Now the problem is very apparent, I havnt even been even able to install a game to see if the games are fixed. Is the problem my gfx card or the monitor? Thx
 
Try to take off the fan on the card, take off the thermal grease, then reapply with some AS5 or the like. Put on a thin coat, just enough to not see the actual gpu then reinstall the heatsink and fan unit. Then try again. I think either your card is overheating or your RAM on the card is fried.

BTW..what card are you running?
 
by card do you mean the processor? I'll buy some new thermal grease. Otherwise the gfx drivers are all new up-to-date.

yes u can find heatsink installation or take aparting or w/e instructions on google and remove thermal grease from both chip and heatsink and apply thin coat (thin coat makes all the difference in the world) and clean the heatsink and fan dust it off if u havent already
 
It sounds to me like you need better case ventilation. Remember, half your fans need to be exhaust fans, and half need to be intake fans. You can't just have one or the other.
Adding an exhaust fan next to the video card would'nt hurt, either. (This may involve a dremel.)

That said, your video card is very likely already damaged.

He took the side of the case off. Ventilation is not the problem. The card is dying a rapid death.
 
Is there a way to RMA the card? If its repairs, can it be fixed? I'll send it in somewhere but its past the 90 day warrenty from Newegg. If there's someone I can send it too, I dont care if it costs money as long as it gets fixed. Unless I have to fork out another 400 dollars to the next card.
