Graphics probs

I have some problems with video on my new computer. This is my setup:

MSI K7T266 Pro2
XP 1800+
256Mb DDR
Leadtek GF2Pro
Sblive value
Acer NIC
XP Pro
23.11 Dets

My problem is that I get pixels/line horizontally across my screen sometimes in windows when I move an object/image around the screen. Also in games I get glitches in graphics and it freezes. Could this be a hardware issue? Any help would be appreciated.

I would download the latest DirectX. It could be obtained HERE.

Also, Try either reinstalling or downloading the latest Vid Card drivers for your card.

Good Luck.

Arent the latest Dx8 drivers in Xp anyway? Thats what it says at that site?

You definately don't need to get the new direct x! XP comes with the latest version: 8.1 .. If you're getting crashes, it just might be caused by your SB Live!, which have lots of problems with VIA chipsets. Make sure it's not conflicting with your video card in the system properties.
