Graphics Cards Programming

Hmm...that sucks. I was just wondering cuz I saw a paper on doing normal mathematical/scientific calculations with graphics cards.

Something like using the pixel shaders to do some simple transforms? Sure, that is one way to input an array and process it (results into the image buffer) but that's a long, long way from running general-purpose applications.

Are you really so certain? There was another thread about using graphics cards to perform martix math for supercomputer applications.
