Discussion Graphics card with user upgradable modular cooling solution

I can't believe that we are in 2025 and no GPU maker is willing to create a standard way to "upgrade" their GPU's cooling performance. For CPUs, we can simply put any brand of air or liquid AIO or even custom cooler. But it seems the options are really limited for GPUs. Not to mention that the typical GPU is built like they do not want us to disassemble them easily.

Here's what I propose. Ship the GPU as a single slot or max 1.5 slot card. Want higher performance? Bolt on (yes, not remove and replace. Just bolt on) a better aftermarket cooling solution onto the existing one to dramatically improve heat dissipation. At least do this minimum for $500 GPUs where users are more interested in getting the most out of their investment.

While this is not what I envision, at least someone is doing SOMETHING about the GPU cooling situation: https://lynk.plus/
