graphics card question

how do you find out about the power output of your graphics card?

i recently tried to upgrade my system and everything seems to work except the graphics card. the fan isnt spinning.

i have an asus ti-4200, and that is all i know.

It's possible the fan has ceased to function.

Power requirements can usually be found on ATI, NVIDIA, or your video card manufacturer's website.

Even a 300W power supply should have no problems with a Ti 4200 though.

i am just reading the mobo's manual, and it says it can only support 1.5v and 0.8v graphics cards. and also, if the mobo is agp 8x, but my card is agp 4x. would that be a problem?

4X and 8X AGP are compatible.

The GeForce 4 is a 1.5V card.
