Hi folks,
I have a dimension 4700 which shipped with a ATI Radeaon X300 (probably 128 MB or 256 MB - not sure)
I use the DVi connection.
Yesterday on turning on, the DVI connection only shows "Check Video Cable"
I used a VGA cable and connected it to the monitor and it works. (from same graphics card)
Switched the OSD function from auto to USe Digital Input- No change.
What could be the problem.
The monitor is a Planar PL1910M. About 2.9 years old (still under warranty for another 3 months). Never faced this problem before.
Could just the DVI part of the graphics card go bad (don't think so) or is it the monitor.
ANy suggestions or opinions.
