Graphics Card Help

Hi all
this is my first ever furom post ever so please go easy
Anyway i would like to upgrade my computers on board graphics to something a 7300gt All i mainly play is the sims 2 at 1280x1024 but it is really unsmooth . My main concern about buying this is my psu, as i dont think it is good enough and i dont really want to damage my pc, here is a pic of my psu as i dont really unstand any of it

amd 64 3400
1gb ram
any help would be greatly appreciated

OMG you have a whopping 8a+ 14a on the 12v rail. Honestly you need to update your ps to something a bit more robust before you strain it with a video card upgrade. You are already running on the edge with that alone.

Sorry, but you simply incorrect. That PSU is nothing special. It is more than plenty for a 730GT, however.

thank for the response i didnt know it was that bad. do i have any other options or are there any other graphics cards that will work with my psu as i dont really want to change my psu.

How many hds and optical drives do you have. You will be cutting it close, but the 7series aren't power hogs so you should be fine.

oynaz is correct. You can run a 7300GT with that as long as you aren't also running two USB hubs, three hdds and, two opticals.
