Hello;

I would like to know which would be a better GFX option, considering (In order of preferences listed):
3+ Years (High settings - no ultra - @ 1080p)
Smoothness in frames (i.e. no stray frames below 20 fps)
Price as listed
Cooler temperature
Both System1 & System2
Preference to nVidia
Not considering power
Not considering extra OC

540$: HD 7970 (not GHZ edition) GV-R797OC-3GD - Core Clock OC to 1000MHz
490$: Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB Graphic Card
410$: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 3GB Graphic Card (GV-R795WF3-3GD : not the B version, can I convert this model?)

I know prices are high but these are the best which are available here.

I am inclined towards 670 but 7950 is promising too, I just don't have any ideas about its future proofness vs 670.

THANKS

Other shops are charging way more extra. Shipping is not an option due to high shipment charges and then hassle in warranties.

Not for both systems. I have not purchased. I will buy one of the two listed.

Nothing below 20fps? There will always be some game that drops there. Crysis 3 most likely...

Is that GTX670 a reference card or a Windforce GTX670?

If that's a reference 670 card, then it has an annoying crackling sound for the fan and it will be barely faster than that 900mhz WF3 7950. Also, if you go with System 1 or System 2, does that alter how much you can afford to spend on the GPU?

Its a windforce.

System1 or System2 depends on OC CPU only and will have nothing to do with GPU selection

Since you prefer NV, what else can we say? Just get the Windforce 3x. It's an excellent choice. You won't be disappointed.
