Graphics card and Power supply upgrade

Okay, So the computer I have right now it a HP Pavilion h8-1234 that has a 300watt power supply and a Radeon HD 7450 graphics card. Now all I'm striving for is to be able to play a games such as Ark: Survival Evolved, Reign of Kings, DayZ, H1Z1, etc. games that aren't normally playable on the computer I have right now even on the lowest settings. I would enjoy to be able to play at least be able to play Ark: Survival Evolved and DayZ with medium to highish settings with a smooth frame-rate and not having to deal with lag while in battle.

I would like to say that you should get a way better graphics card and power supply that will make you have to rewire your system(an easy task if you know what your doing I recommend to do some research about it)also you should get a modular or semi modular power supply 600w should be more then enough to power the kind of graphics card you'll need this is the part where things get expensive(usually) because you will most likely want to play other games too your going to want to get a 4gb vram graphics card if I were you I would start to look at the choices you have and read reviews but you should be able to find a good card for around $400.a power supply I can say would fit your purposes is

Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

This graphics is going to be more then enough I think

Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card.

What's your budget?

A 750ti might do what you want, would be a large upgrade, and it will drop right in, for example.

I agree with LTC. Go for the nVidia GT750 Ti. It *should* run easily on a 300 watt power supply, but your processor (FX6150) is fairly power hungry and the system must be a few years old. Just to be safe you might consider replacing the power supply as well. You can get a good quality EVGA or Corsair 430 watt unit for around 30.00.
