II. Any particular preferences (Manufacturer[nV or AMD], Brand[XFX, Sapphire, EVGA, etc], Cooling Solutions)? No preference, but NO cooling system.
III. Do you plan to have any Multi-GPU solutions such as Crossfire or SLI? Yes, but not immediately; i.e. my mobo supports multi-GPU but I won't do it for at least a year.
IV. Have you previously looked at a product(s) which you feel would fit your needs? I've been looking somewhere in the range of GTX 660 plus or minus a bit. Note: I'm not well educated in the HD series.
V. What are your needs for this GPU? Which games(If any)do you intend to play? If you have this information at hand, what are the desired detail levels?
I'd like to be able to run most games (BF3, BL2, C2, etc.) at average settings (nothing crazy Ultra high or anything)
VI. Do you plan on overclocking the card you intend to purchase?
I do not plan to overclock.

I'm looking to build a new rig (from scratch). As I've not built it yet, everything I've listed here is the "desired" item. The processor listed is the range of processor I'd be willing to buy for the right price. I've got a handle of just about everything, but graphics cards seem to be a bit... subjective. I've not listed a price because I'm willing to wait to find a good deal. My absolute upper limit is 275. Here's what I'm looking for:
EXCLUDING PRICE: What are the performance equivalent HD cards for GTX 570 to GTX 680. (i.e. 570, 580, 660, 660Ti, 670, and 680)?
Also: From what I can tell, HD cards tend to be "poorer" quality than GTX. Is this practically true? What do you think are the most significant difference between HD cards and GTX cards of similar performance?
Finally, from a purely performance perspective, what is the WORST card of all that would provide enough performance for my needs?
