I must have changed a setting by accident and now when I boot into linux it takes to the command line and asks me to login which I can do, but it stays in command line mode. How do I get it to go back to the graphical interface?
1. login as user
2. type startx (it will start gui)
3. goto control panel. There is an option - Start KDE automatically. You can even make it login for you. Why do you want GUI anyway?
4. You're set. Alternatively (instead of #3), you can change initlebel as 0cmonkey said.
