So I just assembled a new machine using this motherboard:

And a 2500k.
Now when I boot it up, I'm getting graphical errors using the on-cpu video AND using a pci-e graphics card. The graphical errors are consistent regardless of if I'm using the on-chip video or a separate video card. Also the bios will freeze upon boot up, I get the splash screen, the massive graphical errors, and a lock up.
So what is to blame?
The motherboard, or the CPU? It seems like the common denominator of the motherboard would be at fault, but it is difficult to be 100% sure considering the integrated nature of the bios and on-chip video.
I do not have any socket 1155 cpus sitting around, nor do I have any socket 1155 motherboards to swap with either.
