Graphical Anomaly?

I'm trying to trouble shoot this issue and think this is either isolated to my monitor or my video cards.

Hardware is in my signature.

I initially noticed this issue on my desktop. There will be random pixels seemingly being out of place and will flicker between the correct color and mostly either black or grey. I've since noticed that it will show up when I am running programs as well. It is not a full screen flicker. It's more like artifacts you might get if you've overclocked too far but not as blocky or frequent.

I've tried to take a print screen of the issue and used the snipping tool but the images look like nothing is out of place unless there is a flicker actively taking place at the time you are viewing the image (as in it is not captured in the image itself).

I have not noticed the issue while gaming or in watching a video.

Gpu clocks have been reset to default for quite a while. I only ran the core at 900 and left the memory at default. I have completely uninstalled video drivers and ran driver sweeper and then installed the most recent drivers from AMD. I have switched out the PSU for a newer one w/ 100 watts more capacity.

The flickering still continues. Any ideas on what else to try? Guesses on what is going on?

Nobody has any suggestions? Should I just start an RMA on my GPU's? Can anybody think of something I can do short of an RMA?

Power issues can definitely creep in to gpu memory corruption. Are you using a powerstrip or a extension cord.
Or the outlet has a lot of other equipment on it ?

If your using 2 5870's , I would remove one, and see if it happens alone, then swap the other one in and do the same.

Is it the same pixel on the screen that does this, or is it seemingly random as to where on your monitor the flickering pixel occurs from time to time?

it is pretty random. Normally I can set it around the start button in the lower left corner and underneath the gadgets in the upper right corner. But it can show up in websites using flash.

I am using a powerstrip.

So I've tried each GPU separately. I think I've isolated it to one of them. The issue is not as noticeable with one running. I guess crossfire exacerbates the problem.
