Other than games alone....Try 3Dmark 06..it will stress it pretty good. But does'nt show real world performance in games.

Btw, nice system.

Oblivion with everything turned up high and largest resolution you can run on your monitor is always a pretty decent test as far as games go.

Download 3dmark06 and o5, download Orthos and run a blended test for 4-8 hours or overnight to make sure everything is fully stable. Once everything has been tested and stable load up Oblivion patched with the Texture mods and turn it all the way up ^^ Your Quad should run it nicely.

Do you plan to OC that rig at all?

Lost Planet is as tough as Oblivion on the GPU. I recommend test it as well since it has DX10 code to test - this is assuming you have Vista. Still, benchmarks for it running the ultra showed that even it is a drag @2560 x 1600 (what isn't...)

I'm laughing because it looks like someone went on newegg and picked out all the top of the line most expensive of everything and said "hey this is what I got".

But yeah 3dmark is the standard really for overall DirectX performance. It doesn't handle things the same as a specific game engine so performance varies per game.

Then again Lost Planet is a crappy console port and the performance hit is not relative to its visual goodness...
