Hey, ok well my problem atm is that in all games, bf2, doom3, cs, quake4, i get white lines over the game that move in like a symmetrical pattern as i get closer to them, my video card is not over clocked, its a 6600gt, i have newest drivers, and this has been a problem since the comp has been formatted also i use to not be able to watch any movies on my computer since the comp would crash upon opening them, but that fixed up when i rolledback my drivers then reinstalled the newer ones, also before a game loads and it has the little movies at the start i get around 5 fps on those, which are usually coverd with white lines and one more thing in doom3 when i see a security camera or something if thats in my view my fps dramaticaly drops.

ill upload some pics so you know what im talking thanks for anyhelp :)

http://img189.imageshack.us/my.php?image=problem18un.png - text does this as well :/
http://img189.imageshack.us/my.php?image=problem28pu.png - some of the white lines

and something weird i forgot to add if i keep alt tabbing the game (usually takes about 8 or so alt-tabs) the lines will go away and the text will go back to normal

Hehehe... :p Nice... I'd say it's probably your video card... I absolutely have no idea about how it comes it disappears with Alt tabbing... :p BTW how hot is your graphics card? Maybe the cooler's not fitted right, but IMO, your card is broken...

Any chance of RMAing it? And welcome to the forums!

temp on the graphic card is fine, and ive had the card for about 4 months so i hope its not something wrong with the actual card itself and also shouldnt be a physical prob with the card since this only started after i formatted the comp, thanks for ya help anyway tho :)

Maybe a bad power supply issue? Can you try the videocard in another PC.

I get some of those issues when I o/c video to high. Might be a driver issue? Are you using same ones before the format? if not go back to them.
