Graphic glitch followed by CRASH Help!

Hi everyone! I've ran into a really weird and depressing situation today where shortly after boot, my screen will have a small graphics glitch (a few yellow pixels dance across the screen) after which the screen freezes and then the system crashes. Any ideas?

My component list is below. Interesting note: I have one hard drive with windows 8 and one with OSX and this happens regardless of which OS I boot into.

Are these artifacts on when in the OS, or can it occur before boot as well? Is the computer doing anything strenuous when this occurs?

Was this occurring since first build or did it creep up later?

The first thing that comes to my mind is drivers.

One thing you could do to narrow this down would be to take out the video card and use the Intel graphics through your CPU/motherboard. See if the problem presents itself there as well.

+1

Keep in mind that, before you remove the video card, you may have to activate the integrated graphics in the BIOS, then boot to Windows to install the drivers.
