Graphic Card - Side Fan Direction

Hi Folks,

I am planning to set a 6" side high speed fan parallel to my cabinet (with left side open), so that its a right angles to the gfx card

I want to know the air flow direction to keep the card cool. ie whether air should be focussed on the card or it should be an exhaust type - pushing the air out of the cabinet

I found that having the side fan blow in works best usually.

Experiment. Some people get better results exhausting hot air from over their GFX cards. As always, YMMV.

well if your card has a fan thats blowing air through the card and you exhaust that air its trying to push through, it might get hotter.
