Hello! GPU-Z shows, that my video card is running at PCI-E x1, although it is put in x16 slot. I know that cards go into lower mode for power saving, but during gpu-z render test it doesn't change and i have felt significant performance lose.
GTX 460 768mb
Core I5-4440 3,1 Ghz
8 GB RAM
Gigabyte B85M-D3H
Corsair CX500

Bus interface changes from 1.1 to 2.0 after render test, but it is still at x1 mode.

Did you do a proper render test?

Run some Unigine benchmarks in window mode or Kombustor.

If it still does not change, I would try re-sitting the graphics card and re-installing Forceware with the clean install option, or after a clean uninstall with DDU.

I would make sure to examine your BIOS settings and ensure that there are no strange PCI-E settings, but I sort of doubt that is the cause...

Try disabling stuff in your bios that would free up some lanes.

USB3, Sata3 etc.

Your score seems pretty high for a 460 when I search for other scores. Do you get the FPS in games you would expect?

Do you have the latest BIOS? I have had to update my BIOS many times for cards.

If your FPS is good, and your BIOS is good, I would try blowing out the PCIE slot. If that doesn't change I would consider not worrying about it unless it is really affecting your performance. It could be getting misread by GPU-Z.

Try searching your motherboard and gpu-z to see if anyone else has reported anything.

All powere plugs are pluged into card.
The FPS are lower then I expect - for example Shogun 2 Total War, on medium settings is unplayable. Lowest settings and lowering resolution helps a bit, but I think that it shouldnt be like that. That applies to other games too.
I tired blowiing out PCIE slot, nothing happened. I tired to but gpu in other PCI-E slot, but it isnt stable there - PC doesnt read it and dont start - BIOS make 1 long and 2 short signals.

I dont know if it is relevant, but i have huge lags when i have game opened, and play YT HD video.
