Graphic card resolution problem

Hi! I have a XGI Volari V3 card that will not work with my brother-in-law's 720p, DLP TV. I used a DVI to HDMI converter. The graphic card defaults to 640x480 and will not let me change the resolution. I tried the same set up with an ATI Radeon 9800Pro and a X1300. Both cards worked fine, and I can set the resolution to 1280x720. I don't know if changing the resolution manually in the registry will work. Do you know of any low-profile, DVI, AGP graphic card what will work? I'm looking at a Geforce 6200, but I'm not sure if it'll work. Thanks.

Uncheck "Hide Modes that this monitor cannot display", and then see what the "List All Modes" browser has to offer. This is the complete list of resolutions your driver supports. ("Monitor" and "Adapter" tabs of Display Properties, respectively)

Peter, thanks; however, I have the latest driver. If I use a DVI to VGA converter, then I can uncheck the option "Hide Modes that monitor cannot display" and set the resolution to 1024x768(TV manufacturer recommendation). But if I use a DVI to HDMI converter(all digital signal), then the option to hide modes is unchecked, but grayed out, and I cannot change the resolution from 640x480. I think that the graphic card is just really, really, cheap.
