Graphic Card Overheated

Aimster

Lifer

Fans in my laptop are controlled via 3rd party software. Something happened (system update or something) that hung my system thus stopping the fans. Graphic card overheated.

It only works in safe mode or if I disable the graphic card so it uses windows default drivers. I know it's the graphic card because there are lines all over the screen the instant I turn it on, but with safe mode there are no lines.

My question is ... Any chance it'll come back to the way it used to ? I heard of some stories where things like this magically started to work after awhile. The basic settings are "ok" but very very laggy.

It's an 7900GTX graphic card too with 512MB 🙁
