Graphic card going crazy

His graphic card is the X800XL 512MB and he got this card from newegg and everytime he opens a Windows related program such as IE or My computer VPU recovery pops up and alerts him it's going to restart his computer. He can play games fine. What's his issue I can't figure it out........Every driver is installed

Does he still have his old graphics drivers on the system?

poolmax? is that supposed to be coolmax? shady psu might be a culprit but definately make sure ALL old drivers were cleared if the card is not what the system was originally built with

I didnt see even a coolmax 450 psu on the nvidia sli ready psu list if it was a mistake. but if its a poolmax then....
