My System configuration :

Processor intel (R) core E7300 2.66GHz

Before going in for a buy, I would welcome any suggestion in this regard.

I would simply consult Autodesk's certified list for 3ds max... mostly likely a low to mid range NVIDIA Quadro or AMD Firepro card up to 4GB

Hardware CPU64-bit Intel® or AMD® multi-core processor with SSE4.2 instruction set

Graphics HardwareRefer to 3ds Max Certified Hardware for a detailed list of recommended systems and graphics cards

RAM4 GB of RAM minimum (8 GB or more recommended)

Disk Space6 GB of free disk space for installPointing DeviceThree-button mouse

Look at the 2019 graphics cards recommended and it is Nvidia Quadro P2000 series and above for current models, AMD Firepro and Radeon Pro WX. Talking serious money. You get to buy some gaming graphics card too!

Looking back to your original post, you have a old PC with only 2GB RAM, I looked it up and this is the review shown below:

Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz compatibility review
Overall, the Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz has decent performance. Its 2 cores clocked at 2.66 GHz provide competent processing speeds but allow few processes to be run simultaneously.
The CPU is now over 10 years old, which means it is extremely out of date and is based on very aged technologies. This processor will be dwarfed in performance by its modern counterparts, and will likely have very little support from Intel.
Created with lithographic technology sized at 45 nanometers, the Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz is not efficient at all by modern standards, and with a Thermal Design Power of 65W the amount of power necessary to run it does not make up for the inefficiency of its physical structure.”

Core 2 was release in 2006-2011. I think your CPU was release August 2008.

Time to get a new PC! Get an i5 or above. Stay away from the entry level i3 PCs. Talking 7 or 8th generation Intel CPU. 9th generation just got release! Shoot for 8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD or larger NvMe M.2.

Probably have to upgrade your AutoDesk program.

Otherwise, you have find out the highest Quadro graphic card that will run on your Core 2 and upgrade your RAM too! Both hardware components should be pennies on the dollar! After all, it for a 10+ PC. I try eBay!
