grape damn popsicle how do i get off this aim mobile sh1t!

my treo 650 died the other day so while waiting for my replacement i got an old phone i found a while back. well being curious i signed on to aim with the old phone(a samsung cingular based flip phone) and forgot to sign off. well after getting messages on my phone i wanted to turn it off so i tried to sign back on aim using the old phone and it wouldn't go through. i kept trying and it would never go through again and connect so i could sing off. well i got my new treo 650 and i'm still getting these fvcking messages.

i'm on aim mobile.com or whatever but i can't seem to find out how the ****** to sign off for good so my phone won't be online when my computer isn't on aim.

fvck! wtf?

I think you're stuck once you associate a phone number with an AIM account. Maybe try calling AOL and asking them to de-associate your number?

There's a logout link somewhere on AOL's site, you need to log in using your AIM name + password then find the option to kill the mobile login.

Been ages since I had to do it though, so I can't be more specific.
