I think thats a horrible release day.. Wouldnt releasing it a few days earlier (tuesday..) make more sense because then the fans of the game can buy it without dealing with the blackfriday shopping crowd.
Sales would still benefit from blackfriday, and it wouldn't be impossible to get a copy

It would actually be smart to release it on Black Friday since most people are going to be shopping for new gifts and see a huge sign and stand for the new GT5 game.
Anybody that already wants GT5 will know its coming. Why not let those people buy it Tuesday, and then all the people that are just shopping can still buy it Friday?

Well sure, releasing it earlier in the week is still a good idea, nothing wrong with that and probably a better option. But I don't think releasing on Black Friday is a bad idea either, if it came down to that.

Yea I want this soon. I was going to pre-order it on Amazon and then the next day the info came out on the delay. This is getting ridiculous.

Me neither as I still haven't pre-ordered. But up until a few days ago it said TBA. At least now there is a date.
At which point, Polyphony Digital will say they've decided to scrap the current GT5 and work an entirely new game engine from scratch to take advantage of the PS4.
