it is because it is not guaranteed to be able to run 2-2-2-5-1 at 200MHz...and the LL series does.
basically the LL series went thru a better screening/test method

hehe~

i got 1024mb of ram working perfectly on Win98se! 😉
zero degradation in benchies 🙂

oh this is kewl 😎

gonna install 2 more sticks tomorrow

passed over 9 hours looping M86 11-tests 😎 (1024mb takes forever! im impatient at the moment)

im gonna run a single DivX test to verify loaded stabilty and ram usage,
then its 2048mb time!

🙂

actually thats good news for everyone!

the way MS is going these days you guys are gonna need a OS that lets you boot up w/o a retina scan 😛 😉

SCK, lol!!! hehe...call me what you want, I wouldn't use it if I didn't like it, and I've got plenty of experience in all versions of Windows...😉😛😀

What would a Thugsrook disciple be called anyway? A Rookie? A Thuggie? A Thughead? 😛

Thugsrook, I think they've dropped the retina scan idea, they're going for a dna scanner now, every copy of Windows will now come with a usb bloodwork machine and scanner...

i dont think im gonna to be trying the P4C800 ~ jhites is using one and loves it.
(it does need to use setFSB above 160fsb tho)

im looking forward to his 533 vs 800fsb cpu OCing comparison 😀

for what im running right now the KHX is awesome and cheap!
obviously im still testing but so far its looking like some great ram for the price.
dont forget my KHX is 512mb sticks and my XMS is only 256mb sticks....

to bad i dont have any mem ratio to debug 🙁
(thats what the IC7 was gonna be for)

New Bios Update 1006-003 fixed the fsb hole.
Running 180fsb right now without SetFSB - still testing.
Ran benches, prime, programs - comparison to 1002-1003 and 1004
shows to be about the same results and stable thus far.

The new Bios also increased the vcore available up to 1.95v
Not that anyone should go above 1.65-1.70v actual.
