Granite Bay is on the way, now I need a cpu..

Hi all!
I was finally able to get a Granite Bay board ( GA-8INXP should be here tomorrow😀 ) and I wanted to know which P4 would be the best to use in it. The 3.06 is a little too much for the wallet right now so I was wondering out of the 2.26's thru the 2.66's cpu's, which would be the best match for this motherboard and why?
Also, this will be air cooled, nothing exotic. Which hsf is best for this setup, if not the stock Intel retail unit

where did you get that granite bay board from? I'm still waiting for the aopen granite bay board but won't be here until the end of the month 🙁 On the other hand it was $180.
 
I snagged one Monday night from Googlegear. I also saw a small flood of them today, by Granite Bay standards, as both Asus P4G8X and Gigabyte GA-8INXP showed up at Newegg and others.
