I just replaced my TM nascar Pro Wheeeel with a new MOMO wheel. (smart move BTW ) 
My brother got my Thrustmaster Nascar Pro FF wheel from me as a result & since the wheel was less than 2 weeks old since I bought it, I didnt actually have time to test the wheel much except for Nascar4 & NFSPU on the pc.
But I assured him that it was compatable with Gran Turismo 3 on his PS2 also.
Ive read it many times, I just never had a chance to plug the wheel into my PS2 & try it out.
Well, of course he calls me today & verifies that he's happy with the Wheels performance in pc games BUT he cant seem to get it configured right when he plugs it into his PS2 for Gran Turismo3.
The wheel calibrates correctly in GT3 & the FF effects work, but he says while on straightaways, the FF effects keeep pulling his car left & right.
But the FF effects are on the money during cornering.
Since I dont have the wheel anymore, i cant be of much help to him.
Anyone using the Thrustmaster Nascar Pro FF wheel with Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2?
How do you set it up so ff works correctly?
Sounds to me like the game has "steering assist" turned on & its pulling his wheeel , trying to "help" him find the best driving line.
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.
